Episode: The red wedding.
was rated  a 15 for strong bloody violence.
Wasn't an 18 because it doesn't focus too much on pain and the inflict of pain.
Limited wound detail
Lack of dwelling on pain/inflicting.

Episode: Mountain and the viper
18 rated
Very Strong gory images (Eyes and head)

Episode: Battle of the snows
18 rated
War violence, stabbings, bodily organs, pushing organs inside.
Blood.

From this, I have learnt that the Game of thrones series is more for adults and people that can cope with watching strong scenes. It is clear that the creators of this TV show wanted to make something quite extreme. The BBFC have given it the ratings it has because of violence, gory images, blood etc. Episodes have 15/18 ratings to help stop people too young from being disturbed by what they see, it acts as a legal warning to people not to watch it until they get to that age.

1. The first reason as to why clients write briefs is because it leads to better and more measurable work. This because the brief allows everything else to flow well, meaning that all work can be completed well and up to standard.
