Concept Art:
Concept art is the idea of using visual media to inspire you on what to include in a video EG music video.

Visualisation diagrams:
These are detailed drawings. In order to see what a product might look like, the best method would be to sketch it out.

Flat plan:

Only needed for print documents. They give you an idea of what will be on each page of something. For example, newspapers or a magazines. A flat plan enables you to map out each page of a print media/documents. Demonstrates layout of magazine as whole.

Prototypes:

This is a less expensive (lower budget)  lower quality,  version of a product to test it out. It enables you to test out the products functions before actually making the real product.

Mock ups:

When creating a design for a product, you can use mock ups to visualise what a logo or masthead to see what it looks like on different products.
